In collaboration with the Pinon Project, SWOS will be offering five separate workshops for families in the 2014-15 school year. The Engaging Families workshops will cover five topics:
November 12 – Effective Communication (5:30-8:30 PM)
December 11 – Empathy (5:30-8:30 PM)
January 15 – Mood Management (5:30-8:30 PM)
February 11 – Setting Limits and Boundaries (5:30-8:30 PM)
March 5 – Problem Solving (5:30-8:30 PM)
The Engaging Families workshops will offer tools and language for parents and caregivers that is directly tied to the SWOSology curriculum used at SWOS. The workshops will be held on the SWOS campus from 5:30-8:30 PM with dinner and an activity room for younger children provided. Contact Rita Stramel at SWOS for more information or to reserve a spot.
