SWOS is looking for a new Academic Intervention Specialist for the 2016/17 school year!
Position Summary: To assist staff in developing and implementing academic interventions that support student academic growth, specifically in the areas of reading and math. The specialist will also implement targeted academic programs/classes specific to reading and (computer assisted) math instruction.
- BA/BS degree or higher
- Experience working with high school aged students
- Experience Response to Interventions (RtI) and/or school-based interventions
- Pass criminal background check
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
This position is funded through a grant and contingent upon the continued receipt of grant funds.
